This is for you if
- You've never claimed your profile, or someone else did
- There's a duplicate listing, or an old address still showing
- A competitor shows for "near me" searches and you don't
- Your hours and photos haven't been touched since the pandemic
Your Google Business Profile is the most valuable piece of marketing you own, and it's free. It is what appears when someone searches your name, what Google uses to decide whether you belong in the map results for "near me", and where your reviews, hours, photos and phone number live for most of the people who will ever look you up. It is also, on most of the profiles we audit, set up wrong — the wrong primary category, a service area that doesn't match where you work, hours from two years ago, or a duplicate listing from a previous owner quietly splitting your reviews.
Fixing it is not complicated but it is specific. The primary category has to be the one that matches most of your revenue, because Google weighs it more than anything else on the profile. The service area has to match your real coverage. Every service you offer has to be listed, with a description, because that's what the profile ranks for. Photos have to be yours, current and plentiful. Attributes, opening hours, holiday hours, the booking link, the Q&A section — each is a small signal, and together they're the difference between showing and not.
Then it has to stay that way. A profile that goes quiet slides; one with a steady flow of new reviews, a post every few weeks and photos added after a job keeps its position. We set that up as a routine you can keep yourself or hand to us on a care plan, and we make sure the profile and the website agree on every detail — because when they don't, Google trusts neither.

What's actually included.
Claim, verify and consolidate
Ownership transferred to you, verification completed, duplicates and old listings merged or removed so the reviews all count in one place.
Primary and secondary categories
Chosen to match what you actually earn from, because the primary category is the single strongest signal on the profile.
Service area and hours
Coverage that matches where you work, regular hours, holiday hours scheduled ahead, and a booking link if you take appointments.
Services, products and attributes
Every service listed with a description, products for retailers, and the attributes — veteran-owned, wheelchair access, online estimates — that filter searches.
Photos that are yours
Exterior, interior, team, work — real, current and organised. Profiles with real photos get more calls and more direction requests.
A review request flow
A short link and a routine for asking, plus guidance on responding. Steady new reviews are what keep a profile moving.
Site and profile in agreement
Name, address, phone, hours and services matching between the profile and the website, with the site's schema saying the same thing.
Start to finish, without needing much of your week.

Is a Google Business Profile really free?
Yes. Google doesn't charge for the listing, and anyone calling to tell you it's about to be deleted unless you pay is a scam. What you pay for, if anything, is someone's time to set it up properly and keep it current — which is what this service is.
Why was my profile suspended?
Usually one of a handful of things: a service-area business showing a street address it doesn't serve customers at, a business name stuffed with keywords, a virtual office or PO box, or edits that tripped Google's automated review. We diagnose which, fix the underlying problem and file the reinstatement — and we'll tell you honestly if the profile was set up in a way Google won't allow.
Can you manage our reviews?
We set up the flow for asking — a short link, a card, a text after the job — and we'll draft responses or respond for you on a care plan. What we won't do is buy, fake or filter reviews. Google catches it, the penalty is a suspended profile, and it isn't worth the risk to your business.
We work from home and don't want our address shown. Can we still have a profile?
Yes. Service-area businesses — plumbers, contractors, cleaners, mobile anything — hide their address and define the area they serve instead. It's a specific setting, it's the one most often set wrong, and getting it right is usually the difference between a suspended profile and one that ranks.
