This is for you if

  • You're on page two for your own town and your own trade
  • A competitor with worse reviews outranks you in the map
  • You serve several townships and only rank in one
  • Your Google Business Profile is unclaimed, wrong, or has a duplicate
The short version

For a local service business, the three results in the Google map pack are worth more than every blue link beneath them combined. That is where "plumber near me" and "dentist Midland" get answered, and where the calls come from. Local SEO is the set of things that decide whether you're in those three: how your Google Business Profile is configured, how many recent reviews you have and how you respond to them, whether your site tells Google unambiguously where you are and what you do, and whether the rest of the internet agrees about your name, address and phone number.

Most of that is unglamorous and most of it is fixable. The wrong primary category on a Business Profile is the single most common reason a good business is invisible. A site with no page that genuinely says "Saginaw Township" can't rank there. A phone number that differs between Yelp, Facebook and the site costs trust with the algorithm. We audit all of it, fix the foundation, build the location and service pages the market needs — real pages, not twenty copies with the town name swapped — and set up a review flow so the profile keeps moving.

What we won't do is promise a position. Nobody can, and the people who do are selling something. What we can show you is the levers, which ones are pulled and which aren't, and a monthly view of rankings and calls that tells you whether it's working. For most businesses in this region the honest timeline is a few weeks for the Business Profile fixes to show and three to six months for the competitive terms.

What you get

What's actually included.

A local SEO audit

Where you rank for the searches that matter, why, and what's in the way. Written down, in plain English, before anything is changed.

Google Business Profile optimisation

Primary and secondary categories, service areas, services, attributes, photos and posts — configured so Google shows you for the right searches.

LocalBusiness schema and on-page signals

Structured data that spells out who and where you are, title tags and headings written for your town, and a site Google can read unambiguously.

Location and service pages

Real pages for the towns and services worth ranking in, written fresh for each, rather than doorway pages Google filters out.

Citation cleanup

Name, address and phone number made consistent across the directories that matter, and duplicates removed.

A review request flow

A simple, repeatable way to ask happy customers for a review, and guidance on responding to the ones you get.

Monthly rank and call tracking

A short monthly report on where you rank, what changed and how many calls the site produced. Numbers, not a dashboard you'll never open.

How long does local SEO take to work?

Business Profile fixes — the right category, the right service area, a duplicate removed — often show within a few weeks. Ranking for competitive terms in a town like Midland or Saginaw usually takes three to six months of consistent work. Anyone quoting days is either fixing something trivial or not being straight with you.

Can you guarantee a first-page ranking?

No, and nobody honest can. Google decides. What we can guarantee is that every lever that's actually within your control — profile, reviews, site signals, pages, citations — is pulled properly, and that you'll see monthly whether it's moving. That's what has put our clients in the map pack.

Do I need a monthly plan, or is the setup enough?

It depends on the competition. For a trade in a smaller town, the setup that comes with a build is often enough and we'll say so. In Midland, Saginaw or Bay City for a competitive trade, rankings are maintained — reviews keep coming, competitors keep working, Google keeps changing — and a monthly plan is what keeps you where you got to.

What about Google Ads instead?

Ads work and they stop the moment you stop paying. Local SEO takes longer and keeps working. For most local businesses the right answer is the SEO foundation first, then ads for the specific jobs or seasons where paying for a spot makes sense. Premium Care includes ad campaign management for businesses that want both handled.
